The deputies are working this Wednesday on a reform of insurance and credit brokerage, forcing these often small players to organize themselves into professional associations.
Back to square one or almost for the reform of brokerage. This Wednesday, the deputies of the finance committee will study a bill supposed to improve consumer protection by forcing insurance and credit brokers to organize themselves better among themselves.
Promoted by Bercy in 2018, the reform was adopted as part of the Pacte law of 2019 before being retoque by the Constitutional Council for a question of procedure. Basically, the text on which the government initiated the accelerated procedure has hardly changed.
